Overview

About Insulation

Insulation only performs when air isn't moving through it. We combine air sealing with the right insulation type and depth for each assembly — attics, crawlspaces, rim joists and walls — so the whole envelope works together.

What's included

  • Attic insulation removal and replacement
  • Spray foam and blown-in options by assembly
  • Rim joist, crawlspace and knee-wall detailing
  • Attic hatch, can-light and penetration detailing
  • Ventilation and baffle correction where needed
  • Post-work inspection photos

Why customers choose it

Fewer hot and cold rooms

Consistent coverage removes the weak spots that drive comfort complaints.

Less load on your HVAC

A tighter, better-insulated envelope means shorter run times.

Done in the right order

We air seal first, then insulate — the sequence that actually performs.

Common questions and concerns

If something isn't covered here, ask us directly — we'd rather answer it up front.
How much does insulation work cost?

Every home and every comfort or efficiency problem is different, so Citadel does not provide one-size-fits-all pricing before diagnosing the home. Your initial in-person home energy and comfort assessment is free. After the assessment, we'll explain what we found and present the improvement options appropriate for your home, priorities and financing preferences. You'll have clear information before deciding how to proceed.

How soon can you start?

We can begin planning your project as soon as your home has been assessed, the underlying issues have been diagnosed, and you have confirmed the improvement package and financing option that are right for you. Installation timing depends on project scope, equipment or material availability, permitting requirements and the current schedule.

Will this actually lower my bills?

The improvements we recommend are designed to reduce waste and help your home operate more efficiently. The amount of potential savings varies based on the problems we identify, your home's existing condition, the package you select, local weather, utility rates and how the home is used. We'll explain where energy is being lost and which improvements are expected to make the greatest difference.

Is my home a good candidate?

The assessment will determine whether this improvement is appropriate for your home. If another solution would address the underlying problem more effectively, we'll explain that instead.
