Overview

About Ductwork & Airflow

Your HVAC can only deliver comfort through the air pathways connected to it. Leaky connections, restrictive runs, damaged insulation and inadequate returns can leave some rooms behind. Citadel looks at your ductwork and the home together, then recommends the sealing, repair, replacement or distribution improvements that fit the findings.

What's included

  • Supply and return duct condition review
  • Accessible connections, leakage and insulation inspection
  • Room-by-room comfort and airflow discussion
  • Targeted sealing, repair or replacement recommendations
  • Return-air and distribution planning where appropriate
  • Post-work airflow review for the agreed scope

Why customers choose it

Comfort beyond the thermostat

Look at the rooms that run hot, cold or stuffy—not just the temperature in the hallway.

Address avoidable losses

Repairing appropriate leakage paths helps conditioned air reach the rooms it is intended to serve.

A plan, not a patchwork

Review duct changes alongside equipment capacity and the home’s insulation and sealing.

Straight answers

Common questions and concerns

If something isn't covered here, ask us directly — we'd rather answer it up front.
Do I need all new ductwork?

Not necessarily. Targeted repairs or sealing may be appropriate. Your assessment identifies condition, access and design needs before recommending replacement.

Can ductwork help a hot upstairs room?

Air distribution may contribute, but insulation, air leakage and equipment sizing can also matter. We review those together rather than promise that one change fixes every room.

Is duct cleaning the same as duct repair?

No. Cleaning addresses material inside ducts; repair, sealing and airflow design address physical condition and distribution. We explain which issue your home actually has.

Can ductwork be combined with other improvements?

Your assessment can coordinate appropriate ductwork, equipment, insulation and sealing improvements. Equipment suitability, project options and scope are confirmed individually.
