Unfiltered infiltration
Air pulled in through attic, wall and garage pathways brings particulate with it.

Diagnostics
Dust and humidity are delivery problems. If unfiltered air is entering from an attic, crawlspace or garage — or if the system cannot run long enough to remove moisture — no filter upgrade alone will fix it.
Every recommendation traces back to something we measured.
Likely causes
Air pulled in through attic, wall and garage pathways brings particulate with it.
Leaky returns pull dusty attic or wall-cavity air directly into the airstream.
Oversized equipment cools quickly without running long enough to dehumidify.
Tight homes need intentional fresh air; leaky homes get uncontrolled, unfiltered air instead.
High-MERV filters in an undersized filter grille restrict airflow and hurt performance.

Questions
Most homes are comfortable in the 45–55% relative humidity range in summer. We measure yours rather than assume it.
It can help with particulate, but it does not stop the leakage or moisture load that created the problem.
